Matt and Michelle Kussow started their professional careers more than 25 years ago working together in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Matt was the chief-of-staff for the Wisconsin Legislature’s Joint Finance Committee for over a decade; served as the Director of State Relations for UW-Madison; the executive director for two non-profit associations; and eventually launched his own government relations company in 2018. Michelle was an in-house lobbyist and executive vice president for a statewide retail association and a partner in a private lobbying firm. Michelle spearheaded the creation of one of the largest business coalitions in the last decade to lobby the Wisconsin Legislature on tax reform. Together, the married couple bring their collective skills and experiences, established reputations and decades of contacts in Wisconsin politics to assist organizations with their government relations efforts.
